The Waco Community Choir (WCC) was formed in September 2012 as a guest choir to minister during a women's conference. The conference was coordinated by Sheila Brown from New Seasons Production, featuring gospel artists and guest speakers such as Dorinda Clark Cole, Kim Burrell and Karen Clark Sheard. The choir so enjoyed singing, ministering and fellowshipping with each other that they decided to stay together thus forming the Waco Community Choir. Since that time, WCC has ministered alongside or on the same bill as Ricky Dillard, Anita Wilson, Kathy Taylor, Myron Butler, Keith Pringle and Brent Jones.
The Waco Community Choir is comprised of over 68 singers from 19 different churches across the Waco/Temple area. The choir even represents 5 different denominations!
WCC is under the leadership and direction of Minister Thomas Brooks, and Rhonda Davis Cooper (the director and assistant director) alongside 4 band members. The choir has traveled extensively accepting invitations all over the state. WCC continues to minister God's word and love through song.
